Welcome to Batticaloa Beach Resort, an idyllic, eco-friendly family-run resort/hotel in the picturesque Batticaloa Beach and lagoon, on the eastern coast of Sri Lanka.
The Resort was established in 2013 and borne out of the desire to preserve nature and share our picturesque corner of Sri Lanka with guests from all over the world. BBR, which is within the city limits, has been a labor of love.
The resort has single, double, triple, and family air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. It offers a modest conference hall, and beachfront sit-out, which is ideal for open-air meetings and garden parties.

THE RESORT

We built Batticaloa Beach Resort which has a land extent of 05 acres because we wanted to create a traditional, hospitable place where guests can relax and enjoy the gentle pace of Batticaloa.

We believe in the personal touch and hope that our genuine hospitality and local knowledge will help you to get closer to real Sri Lanka, a unique experience.

Our newly built swimming pool overlooking the beach with a baby pool, and kiddies’ pool makes this an ideal resort to relax and enjoy your stay.

We have lots of activities which you can enjoy while you are at our resort like kayaking along the beach, cycling around the town and boat rides. A modest children’s play area with swings, sea-saw, trampoline, etc. will keep the young ones fully occupied throughout your stay.
